What We Do

We ENCOURAGE leaders from congregations, serving ministries, and the marketplace to fulfill our common responsibility to be engaged in praying for, caring for and sharing the Gospel of Christ with people of the Treasure Valley. We GATHER these leaders together to share stories of what we've learned and accomplished. We PROMOTE the vision of having a community where the people are prayed and cared for and where the Gospel of Christ is shared.

Why We Do It

We believe as the culture of the Church changes into a prayer-care-share lifestyle, this will have a direct impact on individuals coming to know Jesus Christ as their Savior.

Who We Are

Treasure Valley Festivals, Inc. (TVF) was formed as a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation originally under the name – Treasure Valley Festivals with Luis Palau. After the Festival in 2001 it was determined by several pastors and business leaders that the non-profit should be retained for future city-wide events and service to the Treasure Valley. TVF has since served as the covering for some city events and for the Treasure Valley Pastor’s Prayer Summit. It is run by a Board of Directors made up of pastors, community representatives, and representatives from serving ministries. Treasure Valley Festivals original mission: “To Proclaim Christ through Events and Service” is still at the core of our mission to the Treasure Valley and beyond.

In 2008 the Treasure Valley was asked by Mission America Coalition to become one of their “LC2C” cities in an initiative called Loving Our Communities to Christ or LC2C. Forty pastors from across the Treasure Valley signed a letter requesting Mission America Coalition to include us as a city/region in the LC2C initiative. Mission America Coalition is the United States expression of the Lausanne Movement whose mission statement is: “The Whole Church taking the Whole Gospel to the Whole Nation – and to the World!” Perhaps Loving our Communities to Christ could be best summarized as a catalytic expression of congregations and ministries in the same geographical area co-laboring to change the culture of the Church into a prayer-care-share lifestyle that results in believers of all ages loving their communities.

Where We Are Today

The local expression of Loving Our Communities to Christ or LC2C is now known as “Treasure the Valley.” Treasure the Valley is a registered dba of Treasure Valley Festivals and therefore is covered under its 501(c)3 status. Treasure the Valley is presently administered by a Leadership Team comprised primarily of pastors and some business people. For a more comprehensive look see our Leadership Team page.
